I picked Axe Marks the Spot because this fun, empowering romance completely surprised me with its take on a developing Dom/sub relationship between an overworked single mom and the calm, emotionally intelligent lumberjack who helps bring some much-needed structure to her life. I devoured this one and loved its mix of sizzling chemistry, consent, found family, and a hero you can’t help but fall for.

Why I Started This Book Club

What is included in my membership?
Check the list above to see all that is included in the Book Club membership including the monthly Zoom Book Club meetings, monthly Author Q&A sessions, exclusive book discussion guides, a free reader community and so much more. Please note that this is not a book subscription box therefore the monthly book selection is not included in your membership!
Is a book included in the membership?
No. You will need to purchase your own book each month.
How much does the Book Club cost?
The cost to join the Book Club is $19 a month. It’s a monthly subscription, so the day you sign up will be the day you pay each month. You can also chose to pay annually and get two months free.
What if I want to cancel?
I hope you’ll love your membership, but if you decide to leave, you can cancel at any time. You’ll have access to the Book Club until your next billing date. To cancel, login to the members area and navigate to your account. Please note, annual memberships are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Why do you need to charge?
All good things cost money including running an online book club that can connect its members! It has running costs for all the administrative and logistical sides to make the online meetings and author meet ups possible, which are exclusive to the club.
How do I join the Book Club meetings?
The book club meetings are held virtually on Zoom for one hour at the end of each month. Dates and times will vary each month but will give you enough time to finish reading all or most of the book before we meet. Meetings will be held during the weekday, in the evenings, with the time posted in the Eastern Standard Time zone. The Zoom link will be added to the Book Club member site at least one week before the scheduled meeting. During the meeting we will chat about the book and the discuss questions and have a great time connecting with other readers! If you cannot make the meeting time, you can access the recorded video in the member area at a later date.

Do I need to purchase Zoom?
No, you do not need to purchase a Zoom account to be able to attend the Book Club meetings or Author Chats. You just need to click the meeting link and join in via your computer or phone.
