  1. I’ve read a handful of these. But definitely saving this lovely post for future reference so when I’m in that mood I can quickly pick one of your list ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I really appreciate these “best of ” lists. I have a hard time choosing books sometimes so lists like these are super helpful.

  3. How could you have forgotten Kristen Ashely’s books? Especially the Rock Chicks series… but almost all of them are so so so good…

  4. I have a question to you…
A lot of people say some books aren’t Romance Novels, because they don’t have a happy ending.
Some authors say they don’t write Romance Novels. Like Nicholas Sparks and Diana Gabaldon.
How do you reconcile these ideas with the fact that you and thousands of others won’t bat an eye by naming these “Not Romance Novels!!!” as “Best Romance Novels”? Wouldn’t you agree that the “happy ending” requirement should be reconsidered and removed as part of the definition of a Romance Novel?
I mean… Nicholas Sparks and Diana Gabaldon have received accolades for their books defined by their audience as Romance Novels. Don’t you think it is intellectually dishonest and a disservice to their audience to keep claiming they don’t write Romance Novels? Why – in your opinion – do they insist on not writing Romance, when it’s obvious that’s what they write?

  5. I have such a hard time finding fantasy/fairytale romances that are geared for adults and not YA.
I prefer dark, fantasy, paranormal, alien and mafia, etc genres. Especially those with themes of captive, enemies to lovers, arranged, forced, etc.
Dirty talkers make my toes curl!!!

    1. Definitely search my other book lists as I have ones on fantasy romance, paranormal romance, alien romance, mafia romance, enemies to lovers, arrange marriage, dirty talkers and more!
