Geissinger did it AGAIN with this book.

I honestly don’t know how she keeps writing the best stories with the best characters but she does and wrote another amazing book in the Beautifully Cruel series.

Cruel Paradise is completely its own book and yet it had so much of what I liked about Beautifully Cruel.

Maybe that’s because Liam and Killian are identical twins so of course they’d both be these incredibly alpha males who are complete softies when it comes to the women they’ve fallen for.

You could probably read this as a standalone but I wouldn’t.

You find out some important background to Killian in Beautifully Cruel which is why you’ll be rooting for him in this book as opposed to siding with Juliet.

And yet I totally felt for Juliet. How would it feel to be so completely taken by this incredibly sexy and romantic man but knowing that loving him would be going against everything you stand for?

He literally represents everything she’s been fighting against and yet he wants her to trust him and give in – gah!!

“How can you seem like the perfect guy – except you’re a gangster?” “Well, nobody’s perfect.”

I’ll be honest- not a lot actually happens in this book.

It’s really just this constant build-up between Killian and Juliet.

Killian is constantly at Juliet’s side because he just can’t NOT be. He supposedly is running an international crime organization, but I guess his underlings are doing it while he follows her!

But honestly, I didn’t need more to this story, nor did I want random side stories distracting me from these two.

If anything, read this for Killian.

This man is seriously one of the best book boyfriends out there. I’m not surprised because so many of Geissinger’s male heroes are amazing.

“Let me in. Let me take care of you. Give me your trust, and I’ll give you the world. I’ll give you anything you ask for.”

Killian is hot and will protect you at any cost. He can be infuriating yet thoughtful, romantic, and honest.

He would do anything and everything for Juliet and yet is this complete alpha male. I LOVED him!!

I’m not typically an audiobook girl but I HAVE to listen to this audiobook when it comes out. It just seems like the perfect book for audio with its dialogue and I really, really cannot wait for it.
