Reyna wonโt allow her innocent niece to suffer the same way she did.
So, if the arrogant Irish mobster her brother sold her niece to thinks sheโs going to play nice over their arranged marriage contract, he should think again.
Spider is supposed to marry sweet, beautiful Lili. So why canโt he stop thinking about her swamp witch of an aunt?
Reyna who hates him. Reyna who challenges him.
Nothing good can come of what heโs feeling for a woman whoโs not the one in the wedding contract he signed.
A woman he wants so much, heโll have to burn the whole world down to get. If she doesnโt end him first.
You know it’s a 5-star read when you hit the end and want to go right back and immediately read it again.
How is it that this series just keeps getting better and better?
I love Declan and Sloane and always will but oh my lordy do I love Spider and Reyna.
This book has everything that I love…amazing characters with off-the-charts chemistry, great banter that totally fueled their tension and a hot dirty talker.
OMG do I love Spider.
I already knew he was loyal and had the best Irish accent but then add in his inner romantic side and a past so haunting that I just love the man to pieces.
He is a man all about communication and wouldn’t let Reyna get away with keeping anything to herself.
It’s because of their talks and time together that I could easily buy into their instalust and instalove.
Gah, to have a man like Spider….seriously this woman will want for nothing and she deserves it.
I loved each and every time he called her viper…gah!
Geissinger also dished up yet another strong, sassy heroine that I ADORED.
Reyna is a survivor and only came out the other side stronger.
We get just enough back story on both of them to really come to know them and their inner struggles and this also helped me buy into their instant attraction.
I loved how they both ended up in an arranged marriage when a marriage, especially one with feelings, was exactly what they both didn’t want.
You can read this as a standalone but I think you’d get more out of it if you read the last 2 in the series at least which are well worth it (the first was not my favorite).
This is just the perfect enemies to lovers romance with arranged marriage that I’ll be rereading again and again.
I highly recommend this as one of the best romance novels of 2022 and I’m claiming Spider as one of the best book boyfriends of 2022.
