Here at She Reads Romance Books I take it on as my mission to amass as many book boyfriends as I can 😊.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love my husband and all, but he knows not to get between me and my book boyfriends. Sure I read romance books for the happily-ever-after love stories, but I also read them for the amazing heroes that grace their pages (and their covers).
I don’t discriminate against my favorite book boyfriends as they come in all shapes, sizes, ethnicities and attitudes.
Of course, I do tend to have a favorite “type” but I can easily fall for a geek book boyfriend as I can for an athlete book boyfriend or a hard-on-his-luck book boyfriend, a single dad, or a billionaire book boyfriend.
As long as he can make my heart go aflutter, he’s a keeper in my book. But not just any romance hero earns the title of best book boyfriend.
He’s got to have the full package if you know what I mean. Qualities such as kindness, empathy, dominance, humor, honesty, and good communication are what I look for in my ideal book boyfriend to name a few.
