I honestly canโt wait to see what BB Easton has in store with her new release. Itโs been too long since she published a romance and Iโm counting down the daysโฆ
This month Iโm also going to read an enemies to lovers book, a few MM romances and a new LGBTQ+ romance as well.

My Most Anticipated New Romance Book Releases for February 2022
Good Girl Complex
by Elle Kennedy
College Romance
Releasing February 1
Mackenzie Cabot is a people pleaser, which is exhausting, when all she wants to do is focus on growing her internet business. First, she must get a college degree at her parentsโ insistence which means mingling with the wealthy students of Garnet College.
Twenty-year-old Mac has had plenty of practice suppressing her wilder impulses, but when she meets local bad boy Cooper Hartley, that ability is suddenly tested. But as Mac finally starts feeling accepted by Cooper and his friends, the secret heโs been keeping from her threatens the only place sheโs ever felt at home.
I recently binged Kennedyโs Off Campus series so Iโm ready to jump into this new release which is another college romance but with a different angle and without hockey.
I really enjoy her new adult romance books so I hope this one is just as good as my favorites of hers!
Ramon and Julieta
by Alana Quintana Albertson
Enemies to Lovers Romance
Releasing February 1
Ramรณn Montez always achieves his goals. Whether that means collecting Ivy League degrees or growing his fatherโs fast-food empire, nothing sets Ramรณn off course. So when the seรฑorita who kissed him on the Day of the Dead runs off into the night with his heart, heโs determined to do whatever it takes to find her again.
Celebrity chef Julieta Campos has sacrificed everything to save her sea-to-table taqueria from closing. To her horror, she discovers that her new landlord is none other than the magnetic mariachi she hooked up with on Dia de los Muertos. Even worse, it was his father who stole her motherโs taco recipe decades ago. Julieta has no choice but to work with Ramรณn, the man who destroyed her lifeโs workโand the one man who tempts and inspires her.
As San Diegoโs outraged community protests against the Taco King takeover and the divide between their families grows, Ramรณn and Julieta struggle to balance the rising tensions. But Ramรณn knows that true love is priceless and despite all of his successes, this is the one battle he refuses to lose.
I love this diverse take on Romeo and Juliet where a family feud is over tacos! Plus, itโs an enemies to lovers romance which are my absolute favorite so it is definitely making my TBR list.
Group Therapy
by BB Easton
A Forbidden Romance, Romantic Comedy
Releasing February 1
I amso close to finally becoming a full-fledged psychologist, but my supervisor is holding out on my letter of recommendation. Iโm tasked with curing our most-prized clientโs writerโs block in time for him to meet his insane deadline. Only said client just so happens to be Thomas OโReardon, the wickedly brilliant, achingly beautiful, devastatingly British best-selling author I may have a slight crush on.
So, when Thomas casually asks me out at the end of a therapy session, Iโm forced to make an impossible choice: say yes and risk losing my dream job, or say no and risk losing my dream guy. In a panic, I blurt out a third optionโgroup therapy.
I am so in if BB Easton is writing this as Iโm sure itโs going to be not only hilarious but steamy as well. Knowing she is a psychologist as well as a writer, I can only imagine what aspects from her own life will make it into the pages. This made my most anticipated romance books of 2022 list and I cannot wait to read it.
The Plan
by Karla Sorensen
Fake Relationship Romance
February 9
I donโt recommend fake dating your bodyguard. Especially if heโs like Erik Wilder: former football player, world class know-it-all and unapologetic grump. Erikโs words might say that the lines have to stay firm between us, but those dark eyes of his? They tell another story when he looks at me.
Heโs just as stubborn as I am, but when our fake dating plan starts to feel a lot more real, it’s only a matter of time before his professional walls come crashing down.
I have yet to read a book by Sorensen and I think this is the one! I love a good fake relationship story and the fact that this is with a bodyguard makes it oh so exciting. Bring it!
Meet Me in the Margins
by Melissa Ferguson
Contemporary Romance
Releasing February 15
Savannah Cade is a low-level editor at Pennington Publishing, but she has two secrets sheโs hiding. One: Sheโs writing a romance novel. Two: Sheโs discovered the Book Nookโa secret room in the publishing house where she finds inspiration for her โlowbrowโ hobby.
After leaving her manuscript behind one afternoon, she returns to the nook only to discover someone has written notes in the margins. Savannahโs first response to the criticism is defensive, but events transpire that force her to admit that she needs the help of this shadowy editor after all.
As the notes take a turn for the romantic, and as Savannahโs madcap life gets more complicated than ever, she uses the process of elimination to identify her mysterious editorโonly to discover that what she truly wants and what she should want just might not be the same.
Iโm really digging the fact that the identity of one character is unknown in this one but that the main characters fall in love anyway. I especially love the book angle to the story as well. This will be my first book by Ferguson and I have high hopes it will be one of the best romance novels of the year hence it made my most anticipated of 2022 list.
The Player Hater
by Sara Ney
Contemporary Romance
February 15
When my best friend begs me to come on a weekend getaway so I can bond with her new boyfriend, I canโt say no. After all, I need to check out her guy and make sure heโs not your stereotypical, professional football player (emphasis on PLAYER) whoโs going to destroy my friendโs heart.
Unfortunately he brought his single best friend Davis on the trip. Davis is too handsome, so funny and smart that he has to be hiding something. Because if he seems too good to be true, he probably is.
This book kicks off a new series by Ney featuring strong women falling accidentally in love and Iโm so there. Past books by Ney that Iโve loved were so funny and hot, so Iโm hoping this book has an equal dose of both as well.
Bedhead
by Brooke Blaine
MM Romance
Releasing February 17 (Update: Now Releasing March 15)
I hate Drew Edwards. Smug, charming, flippant, and a royal pain, Drew has a way of making everyone fall in love with him, but I know the truth. Under that public persona is a ruthless man whoโll do anything to come out on top. Heโs done it to me beforeโฆand a leopard doesnโt change his spots.
Hudson Montgomery hates me. If anything, his hate only fuels my desire to provoke the man at every opportunity. So, when the chance to publish the most scandalous book of the year comes down to our companies, Iโm determined to do whatever I have to in order to take Hudson down.
I so love Blaineโs MM romance books and I have a feeling this one is going to be oh so good. Kicking off the Hate to Love You world, I never turn down a great enemies to lovers story, so this one definitely made my TBR list of the month.
Count Your Lucky Stars
by Alexandria Bellefleur
A LGBTQ, Friends to Lovers Rom-Com
Releasing February 1
Margot Cooper doesnโt do relationships. But when she comes face-to-face with Olivia Grantโher childhood friend, her first love, her firstโฆ well, everything, sheโs not so sure about that stance.
Olivia must be hallucinating. Never in a million years did the wedding planner expect her important new clientโs Best Woman would be the one that got away.
When a series of unfortunate events leaves Olivia without a place to stay, Margot offers up her spare room. As they spend time in close quarters, Margot starts to question her no-strings stance. But will history repeat itself or should she count her lucky stars that she gets a second chance with her first love?
My expectations are high for this one after loving Written in the Stars. I love a good second chance romance and Margot deserves a happily-ever-after in this romance which is also one of my most anticipated books of 2022.
The Reunion
by Meghan Quinn
A Contemporary Romance with 6 Points of View
Releasing February 22
Martin and Peggy Chance believe love should last a lifetime. With their fiftieth wedding anniversary on the horizon, theyโve modeled a beautiful relationship for their three grown children. But to their dismay, that lesson hasnโt quite caught onโthe three siblings just canโt seem to take a chance and find love in their own lives.
Thereโs Ford, the eldest, devoted to his work and resistant to romanceโฆor so he claims. Cooper, the middle child, canโt get past his divorceโuntil he reconnects with a feisty baker from his past. And Palmer, the baby of the family, is the free-spirited world traveler who always pictured herself with someone other than a handsome small-town family doctor.
When the Chance siblings come together to plan the ultimate anniversary party for their parents, theyโll have to navigate romantic entanglements, sibling rivalries, and the definitive end of their childhood.
Yes, Iโm ready for another Quinn book! Iโm SO happy this woman keeps cranking out the romance and this one sounds so good. I love how we will get multiple points of view and I hope it plays out well though how can it not? Quinnโs consistently had a title on my annual best of lists so hereโs hoping this one makes my best romance books of 2022 list!
Iโm So Not Over You
by Kosoko Jackson
Second Chance, MM Romance
Releasing February 22
Itโs been months since aspiring journalist Kian Andrews has heard from his ex-boyfriend, Hudson Rivers, but an urgent text has them meeting at a cafรฉ. Instead of apologizing for the breakup, Hudson has a favor to askโhe wants Kian to pretend to be his boyfriend while his parents are in town, and Kian reluctantly agrees.
The dinner doesnโt go exactly as planned, and suddenly Kian is Hudsonโs plus one to Georgiaโs wedding of the season. If Kian goes, heโll help Hudson preserve appearances and may get the big career break he needs. Only their fake relationship begins to feel more like the real deal.
Jackson will be a new romance book author to me and Iโm loving the set up of this fake relationship/second chance romance. Plans never go as expected when you fake date, do they? Iโm anxious to see how things progress and feelings transpire between Kian and Hudson in this MM romance!

I had 2 that I was so impatiently waiting for this month and they aren’t on your list. Just One Favor by Stephanie Rose – an enemies to lovers with a bit of a twist on the FM roles. The other is the MM forced proximity Sink or Swim by Annabeth Albert. Both authors are auto buys for me so I was pleased there was a week between release dates!
Mischka, I love it when my favorite authors have new releases!
