These are the new romance book releases that made it to my must read pile and which I highly recommend to all romance readers.

Every month I get excited to see which new romance book releases will be debuting soon.
It’s not like my TBR pile isn’t already bursting at the seams but I never fail to find a number of new releases that catch my eye.
These are either new releases from my most favorite authors or books that have an intriguing storyline or use a favorite romance book trope that I can’t get enough of.
This month I decided to change things up and write a list of my top 10 most anticipated new romance book releases. These aren’t necessarily ALL of the books that I hope to check out but they are my most favorite.
This month three of my most favorite authors are releasing new titles and my most anticipated romance book of 2021 is releasing as well! It’s going to be a great month of reading.

Top 10 New Romance Book Releases for June 2021
August looks forward to seeing Jane every day on the train. Only her subway crush is impossible because Jane is a girl lost in time, displaced from the 1970s.
This book is probably the most anticipated book to read this summer if not all of 2021 so of course it is also on my Best Summer Reads of 2021 list.
This book follows the mega success of Casey McQuiston’s debut novel, Red, White and Royal Blue and looks to be equally fantastic with an intriguing FF romance that includes time travel.
This is my pick for the June 2021 Romance Book Reading Challenge!

Oh, how I loved Anne of Green Gables growing up! I’m also a big fan of modern retellings and adaptations so I look forward to checking this one out. I also love that it features the academic rivals to lovers trope!

At the end of last summer, Quinn confessed her crush on him in the form of a rambling email—and then he left for college without a response.
Quinn has been dreading seeing him again but soon she’s thrown together with Tarek wedding after wedding when they’d rather be anywhere than together.
I totally loved Solomon’s The Ex Talk that released earlier this year so I am very much looking forward to this new release which seems like a perfect read for the summer.

But then she confesses she’s still carrying her V card, and she’s been wanting Holden to cash it in since the day they met. Now staying away from her is going to be hard especially since he’s pretty sure she’s the one who got away.
I so love this type of romance which I call the relationship coach trope. It gets me every time and I know Blakely will deliver. Plus, it seems like every summer requires a baseball romance 😊.

As the most hated player in baseball, I had two options: either clean up my image or pack my bags. That’s how I found myself sharing a small bistro table with Kate Chapman, the Chicago Bobbies newest PR Manager.
It was supposed to be simple. Book some PR events, show up, smile for the camera, and be done. But one massive mistake on my end sends me into the trenches with Kate, forcing me to open up to her.
I’ve never wanted a woman as much as I want her. And I know she wants me, but there’s a no fraternizing with the players rule. Neither of us can afford to lose our jobs, but we also can’t seem to keep our hands off each other either.
Gah! FINALLY Walker’s story is here. I totally fell for this grump of a baseball player in Quinn’s previous books so June 10th can’t come soon enough. It’s a must read for me.

When Teddy Phillips is dumped by her longtime boyfriend, she takes comfort in her not-so-guilty pleasure: Everett’s Place, a local children’s show hosted by Everett St. James. Everett seems to have everything in life figured out so she decides to write him for advice.
The two never meet but continue writing to each other, until their worlds collide. It’s then they are both forced to let go of their fears and figure out if their futures include each other.
I love how this story centers on two people falling in love through letter writing. I find it so romantic making this one of June’s most anticipated new romance book releases for me.
This book also made my best summer reads list for 2021.

Holy heck does this one sound enticing. I have yet to read a Pam Goodwin novel and I think this dark, teacher-student romance will be my first.

Thaddeus Walker Bowman Owens is the backup quarterback for the Chicago Stars. He’s a total team player but not when it comes to his new travel partner for a nationwide promotional tour, Olivia Shore, the international opera superstar.
Too bad he has no tolerance for divas and she has a grudge against the jock. But these superstars have to find a way to work together or crash and burn.
I am SO excited to dive back into Phillips’ world of the Chicago Stars. This was one of the first sports romance series that I devoured and I’m so looking forward to seeing what this QB and diva have in store.
It definitely made my Best Summer Reads of 2021 list as well as one of my Most Anticipated Romance Books of 2021!

London Stuart has been single for the last four years but her cousins and best friends believe it’s time she get back out there.
She was actually excited for the speed dating sessions they signed her up for until she comes face to face with her son’s hot soccer coach, Oliver Hayes.
Oliver is the whole, brilliant, British package but he may be leaving the country soon to return home. If he’s going to be leaving, London’s not sure it’s the best move to put her heart on the line but it might already be too late.
Hart’s, The Introvert’s Guide series, has totally caught my eye and I’ve yet to dive in but I hope to with this June release. I also have a thing for romance heroes with an accent so I’m looking to find a new book boyfriend in Oliver.

Declan blames me for starting a war. Consorting with his enemies. Though I’m innocent on all charges, he wants his pound of flesh and makes me his captive.
But as we’ll both soon discover, there are more powerful urges than sticking it to your enemy.
I admit that I have high hopes for Declan and Sloane was hilarious in Geissinger’s last book, so I anticipate a lot of sparks and amazing banter in this one. I am totally prepared to fall for this Irish leader.
