Tate Adler and Maggie Todd were never meant to be anything more than sworn enemies given the longstanding feud between their neighboring family farms.

Yet when Maggie discovers Tate’s secret, a side hustle that could jeopardize his hockey scholarship, their face offs give off sparks that could blow everything a part.

I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it!

I adore enemies to lovers romance books and this one hit the spot with its Romeo and Juliet vibe where two families are at odds with one another with a hate that passes from generation to generation.

Tate and Maggie were the best characters to root for with some highly combustible chemistry!

Tate is a college sophomore juggling school, hockey and work on his family farm but since the bills are still piling up for his family he has to take a side job.

Unfortunately, this side job could jeopardize his hockey scholarship if word got out so it’s really bad luck when Maggie catches him in the act.

Maggie’s family farm is in equally dire straits so she doesn’t hesitate to use her new found knowledge of Tate for a bit of blackmail.

Of course this blackmail pushes them into each other’s orbit and their extreme dislike of each other can’t help but morph into some really hot chemistry!

This is my first Denault book but won’t be my last because she is a writer who’s got it.

I loved her storytelling, the pacing, and the character development. I also thought the back story behind the family’s feud was surprising and unique!

Everything just came together for the perfect package which I read in a day.

I highly recommend this book for all enemies to lovers fans and those who love college romances.

Fans of Sarina Bowen’s True North world will love this too.
