I am such a sucker for hockey romance books where the players keep things hot on and off the ice and I’ve got the best of the best on this book list. These are the books about hockey romance that I would reread in a heartbeat and that you absolutely must read before checking out any new release.

Ty is the hockey player who relentlessly pursues her and gets to know her dreams and deepest desires. Oh, and they are super hot together! One of Jaci Burton’s best in the Play by Play series and one of the best romance books where toys get in on the action.

The competitive nature of these two athletes and their apparent hatred of each other only fueled their attraction and the heat between the sheets!

I love the side job that Tate is trying to hide and how Maggie is holding that knowledge over his head to secure herself a place in his family’s booth at a local market every weekend.

But that forced proximity makes them actually come to know each other better after wading through a lot of great barbs and banter between them. This is just one of many hockey romance books in the Moo U hockey series so check them all out!

Dekker is desperate to sign Hunter to help out her family’s sports agency and Hunter is desperate to win a Stanley Cup.

It was so fun seeing these two rib on each other while fighting their attraction and addressing their unique struggles. I can’t recommend it enough!

Maven is tasked to follow along with the rookie hockey player so I loved the behind-the-scenes look at his preparation to the game, but don’t even get me started on how steamy this book is. WOW!

Not only is he a phenomenal hockey player but he’s a man so attuned to others and he knows just how to approach grumpy Frankie and take care of her.

I loved how these two navigated their attraction while working with one another on the same hockey team. It’s one sweet hockey romance you definitely must add to your TBR list.

Mile High
by Liz Tomforde

Zanders: Chicago hockey isn’t complete without me—everyone’s favorite player to hate. I know my role, and I play it well. In fact, I thoroughly enjoy spending the majority of my game time in the penalty box before leaving the arena with a new girl on my arm each night.

What I don’t like is the new flight attendant on our team’s private plane. She works for me, not the other way around. But I’ll be sure to remind her of that, and I can guarantee, by the end of the season, she’ll be begging to quit her job.

But every road trip blurs the lines, and I can’t quite figure out if I keep pushing that flight attendant call button in order to push her buttons or if it’s more than that.

Stevie: I’ve been a flight attendant for years. I thought I’d see it all, but when my new job lands me onboard working for the most egotistical and self-righteous diva in the NHL, I start to second guess everything. Including the promise I made to myself of never hooking up with an athlete again…no matter how annoyingly tempting he may be.

Evan Zanders is unfiltered, unapologetic, and too attractive for his own good. He loves his image, but I hate everything about it. Everything but him.

This is such a great hockey romance with a bit of forbidden romance thrown in since Stevie really shouldn’t mix business with pleasure when it comes to the hockey hottie who loves to push her buttons on the team airplane.

Though I loved the hockey aspect to Zanders’ story, I also really loved the found family he made with his teammate. Plus I loved how much he loved Stevie’s body when she was shamed for it by someone at work. This is book one in Tomforde’s Windy City series and should not be missed if you love hockey romance.

Running into your ex is never ideal. Running into your ex who is now dating your nemesis is a literal nightmare. That’s how I found myself in a sheer panic, reaching for the closest guy at the bar and kissing him. And to my delight he was easily the most attractive man I’ve ever seen.

The only problem is, when I tried to walk away after thanking him for his help, he stopped me with three life-changing words . . .“You owe me.”

That’s how I found myself, a college girl, in a fake relationship with a professional hockey player ten years older than me.

At first it was easy. He helped me with my internship. I helped keep his ex away from him. We were becoming fast friends.

It wasn’t until he started staying the night at my dorm did the rules of our arrangement become complicated. Now my feelings are involved and even though I kissed the right man at the right time, I’m worried he’s just waiting for the clock to run out.

Do I really have to pick a favorite when it comes to Meghan Quinn’s Vancouver Agitators series because that’s just too hard to do. I loved Pacey’s story in Kiss and Don’t Tell but I also really loved Silas’ story which is such a fun, fake dating romance with a heroine who owns it.

The best part about this hockey romance and the series is the bromance between all the teammates. Love it!
