She kicks off a new series with Drive Me Wild and it’s going to be a keeper.
Griffin is a car mechanic in the small town of Bellamy Creek. His night out with friends is interrupted when a beautiful woman, dressed in a debutante gown no less, wrecks her car right in front of them.
Not one to leave a stranger in need, he lets her crash at his apartment for one night. Only that one night isn’t enough.
This book had me at hot mechanic. Sign. Me. Up. And Griffin didn’t disappoint. He was the small town stud who I wouldn’t mind crashing into.
He owns his own business, rocks an adult baseball league, brings the heat in the bedroom, is a sweet godfather and takes care of damsels in distress.
Only, he’s dead set on steering clear of relationships and anything resembling the L word. That shouldn’t be a problem as Blair is just passing through town only she gets under his skin and stays there.
I’ll admit that it took me a bit to warm up to this story and I think it’s because I wasn’t sure what to make of Blair. Was she this ditzy debutante or was she this smart marketing strategist just trying to get on her feet.
But about halfway through this story really clicked and I was hooked. I loved the small town vibe and this book is a great set up to what is bound to be a great series.
You get the small town community where gossip spreads like wildfire and the elderly neighbors you can’t help but love. There are plenty of friends and family members destined for their own happily ever afters too!
If you’ve read Harlow’s Cloverleigh Farms series, you’ll love the minor crossover as well.
A small town romance that packs the perfect amount of heat that you can’t resist. Check it out!
