I went into Kayla Grosse’s romance expecting a high-steam relationship between an overworked single mom and a rugged lumberjack, but what hooked me was how fun, supportive, and empowering Lindsey and Dane’s relationship became.
Dane gives Lindsey the chance to relinquish some of the control she’s forced to carry every day, while their exploration of a Dom/sub relationship is built around trust, communication, consent, and Lindsey becoming more confident in what she wants.
