When you’re always on the hunt for your next favorite book boyfriend (like me!), you can’t help but get excited about all the new romance book releases set to come out in a given month.
The problem is narrowing down your reading list to which books sound the best and which you think can deliver that elusive 5-star rating.
For me, every month it’s a mixture of new romance book releases and throw back titles on my ever-growing reading list.
I like to stay on top of the new releases that really catch my eye but there are often just too many good books that I’m also playing catch up from older titles that I hadn’t had a chance to read yet.
This month’s list of most anticipated new romance book releases draws from several authors whose writing I’ve loved in the past as well as a few new authors I’ve been meaning to check out for some time.
Many titles are also from my Best Summer Reads of 2021 list but there are also a few new additions which had last minute release announcements.
It’s a toss up which book I’m MOST excited to read so I guess I have to make sure I read them all.

My Top 10 Most Anticipated New Romance Book Releases for July 2021
Working hard to hold it together as a single mother, Emery is no stranger to loneliness which she can see in the rock star who’s taking a seat in her bar. Can these two find solace and hope together or will the world take it apart?
Cherry never fails to bring the emotion in her romance books. I swear that my heart needs a few days recovery time after I read one of her novels but it’s worth it. I’m sure things won’t be any different after reading this new release.
I can’t wait to read how Oliver and Emery come to find solace in each other and escape their loneliness. It’s a must read July release and one of my most anticipated summer reads for 2021.

Because I loved Yes & I Love You so much, it was a given that I’d be reading Loren’s new release this month. I love to read about two characters down on their luck finally finding something meaningful with another kindred spirit.
I definitely have a thing for tortured romance heroes so I can’t wait to see Hill get his happily ever after.

This book had me at MM romance but add in the fact that it’s about two pro baseball players AND one is a virgin?- OMG!
My July TBR list would not be complete without this book which is why it also earned a spot on my list of best summer reads for 2021!
Just be sure to add in book two, which releases this August and completes this duet.

Only coffee led to dinner, to dessert and an entire weekend together. But this man is too good to be true so I ghosted him only to come face to face with him again just when I started dating his boss.
I am so intrigued by this book set up! Vi Keeland, what do you have in store for me?!
She gave me one of the best romance novels of all time last year in The Rivals, so I have high hopes for this July release.

I love it when friends try to add in bedroom shenanigans thinking they can keep it purely physical without feelings getting involved. HAHAHAHA! It never works people, but oh how I love reading how they try. I can’t wait for this one.

I love a good opposites attract romance and this one sounds like the perfect summer read making it a must read on my July list.

The audio version of this book actually first released in April of this year but the Kindle version arrives this month and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
I love a romance where two people adrift finally find their way with one another. I’m so intrigued by the connection of these two and look forward to reading it.

As I noted in my best summer reads of 2021 list, it’s rare to find a romance novel where the characters are already married so I was quick to add this one to my list of books to read this month.
I love the concept behind their marriage of convenience and how it’s Vlad’s desire to find real love with his wife that sparks his drive to change things and write a romance novel!
This will be my first novel by Adams so I have high hopes.

We’ll see how that goes but I’ll go along for the ride!
