What a gift from Emma Chase!
I absolutely adore each and every book in the Royally series and was beyond excited to hear that she was going to give us another novella!
What’s special about this novella is that it includes several special moments only hinted at in the various books of the series.
While I was anticipating moments that include all the characters from the series, this really is a book about Queen Lenora and Edward.
I’m not sure anyone can take Henry’s place in my heart, but I did adore Lenora and Edward’s origin story in Royally Yours.
With this novella we get a glimpse into more of their moments and honestly the strength that carried this queen throughout her 95 years.
I will say that it starts with a real bang as I wanted to bawl my eyes out and I probably did a few more times throughout the book. So, it’s not what I’d call a light read for its heavier moments but the book was so satisfying.
