My Review of A Married Little Christmas
I’ve always thought Christmas romance novellas are perfect for this time of year. When holiday happenings are pulling you in several directions, sometimes a novella is all you have time to read, and A Married Little Christmas gives you three!
I read all three in one sitting and found them delightful, funny, swoon-worthy and full of holiday spirit. Each story felt different enough to keep the collection interesting, while the small connections between them were a fun touch.
The second novella was probably my favorite. I loved the ridiculous setup of the hero having to spend the day in a diner wearing an awful costume because he lost a bet, only to find himself falling for the waitress. And talk about a cinnamon roll hero! He had me swooning.
But I enjoyed all three. The disastrous Christmas dinner in the first felt especially relatable, while the chemistry in the third came through surprisingly well considering how quickly those two fall for each other.
And if you’re an Abby Jimenez reader who is bracing yourself for the emotional gut punch, you can relax with this one. Abby has said she purposely kept these stories light and fun for the holidays, and that’s exactly what they are.
