Series: The Simple Wild
Categories: Contemporary Romance
Tags: Holiday, Novella
Too often novellas leave me unsatisfied with either a rushed or incomplete story, but WOW did I love this one.
I think I read it as slowly as possible because I wanted to absorb each scene with the characters I’ve fallen for in this series and I never wanted it to end.
This is perfection. Plain and simple.
It was such an amazing treat to get more of Calla and Jonah and honestly to get more of everyone in Trappers Crossing.
This novella picks up right after Wild at Heart where Calla and Jonah are waiting for their parents and step parents to descend on them in Alaska for the Christmas holiday.
I loved the moments between Calla and Jonah, both the exasperation and sweetness, but I also loved every moment we get with Roy, Muriel, Agnes, Mabel, Simon and a few new characters.
The epilogue is fantastic for two reasons, but you’ll have to read it to find out why!
This is a must read for anyone who has read and loved this series. You don’t want to miss it.
