Every month I feel like a kid on Christmas morning when I finally get to read all of the new romance books that I’ve been anticipating for weeks (or maybe all year!).
It’s not like my “to read” list is hurting for book titles as it’s always past bursting, but that doesn’t stop me from looking forward to the many new romance book releases that come out each month.
Since it’s my goal here at She Reads Romance Books to help fellow romance book lovers like me find the best romance books worth reading, I share my most anticipated new releases with you each month.
November New Romance Book Release Highlights
Making this month’s list, of course, are a number of new releases from my most favorite authors. Penny Reid, Amy Daws and J.T. Geissinger each have a book coming out this month that will be an instant read on release day!
Each month I also like to try out an author or two that I’ve yet to read before in my hunt for new book boyfriends to crush on.
I’m hoping Denise Williams and Sara Desai make their marks with their new releases prompting me to dive into their entire library of books!

My Top 10 Most Anticipated New Romance Book Releases Coming November 2021
The Fastest Way to Fall
by Denise Williams
A Contemporary Romance
November 2
Britta Colby works for a lifestyle website, and when tasked to write about her experience with a hot new body-positive fitness app that includes personal coaching, she knows it’s a major opportunity to prove she should write for the site full-time.
As CEO of the FitMe app, Wes Lawson isn’t supposed to be training clients let alone start catching feelings for one. But the more time Wes and Britta spend with one another, the harder it is to maintain a professional distance. Both have a lot to lose, but can either walk away?
I love how romance books take aspects of our everchanging, modern culture and weave them into storylines.
A fitness coaching app is a fun way to bring these two characters together and I’m anxious to see how they make it work despite their work complications. This will also be a first for me by Williams.
Sweeper
by Amy Daws
A Soccer Sports Romance
November 4
Zander Williams is the hot new American determined to take European football by storm. His head is so big, it barely fits under his backwards hat. Managing the building where they live is only one of Daphney Clarke’s many jobs. It’s why she has zero patience for the obnoxious American on the other side of the wall.
And yet after one steamy hallway kiss, neighbor wars quickly shift into neighbors-with-benefits and that’s a battle they both intend to win. But Daphney doesn’t know the real reason Zander is in London and now she’s stuck in the middle of a game she didn’t even know she was playing.
I adore Amy Daws’ writing and can’t wait to see what she has in store for Zander in this Harris Brothers spin-off. I have a feeling there’s going to be a big OMG moment in this book!
Plus, if hot soccer playing athletes have been on the mind from watching Ted Lasso then this is the perfect new romance book for you!
The Naughty, the Nice and the Nanny
by Willa Nash
A Christmas Romance Novella Featuring a Single Dad & Nanny
November 4
Acting as the short-term nanny for a single dad should have been an easy way to make some extra cash. Only I’m stuck for one week in charge of a demon disguised as a seven-year-old girl whose father I crushed on in high school, billionaire Maddox Holiday.
Seven days with these two and attending the Holiday family’s annual soiree will be a nightmare. But I can do anything for a week, especially for this paycheck, even if it means wrangling the naughty, impressing the nice, and playing the nanny.
This novella kicks off a three book series by Devney Perry, writing as her alter ego Willa Nash, and I have a feeling I’m going to be reading all three!
The holidays can definitely bring out the crazies in families so I’m excited to see what antics are involved in this story. Plus, I’m always up for a romance featuring a billionaire.
Elves With Benefits
by Jana Aston
An Opposites Attract Christmas Romance Novella
November 4
My name is Ryan Sheppard and I don’t care about Christmas. I’m only returning to my over-the-top Christmas-themed hometown to sell the house I inherited from my late uncle so I can get back to the city.
Yet according to the town Christmas cop, there’s a moratorium on selling houses during December. She’s also slapping an alarming number of tickets on my front door. For being in violation of holiday décor. If only this Christmas cop didn’t look like a sexy red-headed elf.
This book kicks off three more novellas in Aston’s Reindeer Falls series. While the first three novellas featured three sisters, the next three novellas follow three brothers.
I honestly could reread the Reindeer Falls series every Christmas so I was so excited to hear that Ason was giving us more to love this year. I have high hopes that the Sheppard brothers will deliver!
Just Haven’t Met You Yet
by Sophie Cousens
A Contemporary Romance
November 9
When Laura arrives in the Channel Islands, not only is she humiliated when her bag is dumped upside down in front of the most attractive man she’s ever seen, she then realizes she’s grabbed the wrong suitcase from the airport.
Her only consolation? The contents of the suitcase lead her to believe she’s found her dream man. Now, all she has to do is find him. What are the odds that she’d find The One on the same remote island where her mom and dad had first fallen in love?
Commissioning surly cab driver Ted to ferry her around seems like her best bet in both tracking down the mystery suitcase owner and retracing her parents’ footsteps. And if beneath Ted’s gruffness lies a wit that makes their cab rides strangely entertaining, so much the better.
The set up of this romance novel sounds so adorable. Can you spot your true mate just from a few items in a suitcase? I wonder and can’t wait to find out when reading this new release from an author that I’ve yet to read – bonus!
Beard in Hiding
by Penny Reid
A Small Town Romance
November 16
Diane Donner is craving danger. She’s tired of playing it safe and she knows just the criminal motorcycle man to proposition for a good time. Problem is, she doesn’t actually know his name.
Jason “Repo” Doe never takes risks. So when the queen of local commerce walks into his club, looking to get risky and frisky, Jason knows the smartest thing to do is save himself a headache while saving the new divorcee from her worst impulses. But then one thing leads to another, and the memory of just-one-night doesn’t feel like enough.
OK so I originally had this on my most anticipated new romance books list for October but the release day got pushed back so it’s making a reappearance because I really cannot wait for Diane and Repo’s story.
Repo and Diane couldn’t be more opposite from one another but I have a feeling their chemistry is going to be off the charts. Plus, I love it when authors feature mature characters, not always young adults in their twenties. November 16 can’t come soon enough!
The Singles Table
by Sara Desai
An Opposites Attract Romance
November 16
After a devastating break-up, celebrity-obsessed lawyer Zara Patel is determined never to open her heart again. She puts her energy into building her career and helping her friends find romance through the wedding season. She’s never faced a guest at the singles table she couldn’t match, until she crosses paths with the sinfully sexy Jay Donovan.
Former military security specialist Jay has no time for love. His life is about working hard, staying focused, and winning at all costs. He doesn’t need charismatic Zara in his life, but he’s stuck with her for the entire wedding season.
So they make a deal. She’ll find his special someone if he introduces her to his celebrity clients. But when their arrangement brings them together in ways they never expected, they realize that the perfect match might just be their own.
It’s really hard to resist an opposites attract love story, especially when the hero is a grump! I also love it when people try to set up their friends only to find themselves falling hard for each other in the process. This book sounds like a must read this month!
Savage Hearts
by J.T. Geissinger
A Mafia Revenge Romance
November 19
When my older sister calls out of the blue to announce she’s getting married, it’s a shock. I should’ve known something was wrong when she wouldn’t tell me where I’d be going.
And I absolutely didn’t anticipate her fiancé being Declan O’Donnell, head of the Irish mob who’s now a target of a savage Bratva assassin who wants revenge for the murder of his brother. Now I’m smack in the middle of a mafia war, and I’ve got a Russian assassin who’s decided he likes the looks of me.
For those who read Carnal Urges, this book is the story of Sloane’s little sister, Riley, and Malek, the Russian assassin who wants revenge on Declan for killing his brother, Mikhail.
It is not Diego’s story which the epilogue seemed to imply. Geissinger said she’s not sure if he’s going to get his own book, so just know that going in. I’m still interested in this one however.
And that cover…holy moly. It’s going to be added to my hottest romance covers list. She’s outdone herself with this one!
Go Tell the Bees That I am Gone
by Diana Gabaldon
A Historical Romance
November 23
It is 1779 and Claire and Jamie Fraser are at last reunited with their daughter, Brianna, her husband, Roger, and their children on Fraser’s Ridge. Yet even in the North Carolina backcountry, the effects of the war are being felt. Plus, dangers from the twentieth century might catch up to them all.
Not so far away, young William Ransom is still coming to terms with the discovery of his true father’s identity—and thus his own—and Lord John Grey has reconciliations to make, and dangers to meet . . . on his son’s behalf, and his own.
How could I not put a book on my most anticipated list that I’ve been waiting for for SEVEN YEARS?! I can’t believe it’s been that long since the last book in the Outlander series was released but yep, 7 years.
I’ve been listening to Written in My Own Hearts Blood for weeks to reacquaint myself with the story and where it left off so I’m all ready to read what I’m sure will be quite a lengthy book. Oh Jamie (and Claire and Bri and Roger and William and Ian…) how I’ve missed you!
See how this books stacks up in the Outlander book order!
Rake I’d Like to F…
Historical Romance Anthology
November 30
The Last Crimes of Peregrine Hind – Sierra Simone
Peregrine Hind, known to all as the bloodiest highwayman ever to bedevil the road, seeks only one thing—revenge against the Dartham family. And so when a robbery sends the second Dartham son and notorious rakehell Alexander Dartham tumbling to Peregrine’s feet, it seems like fate has given Peregrine his vengeance at last.
Except then Alexander offers him a desperate bargain: to kidnap him instead, so Peregrine can harvest a generous ransom from Alexander’s family first. Peregrine agrees, but he’s in no way prepared for a captive like Alexander, who enjoys being tied up a little too much.
Two Rakes for Mrs. Sparkwell – Eva Leigh
The last thing Mrs. Vivian Sparkwell wants is to tie her life to another stifling husband. But thanks to the surprise terms of her last marriage contract, if she refuses any reasonable offer to wed again, she loses her widow’s portion. What she needs is a thorough and public ruining to make her would-be suitors cry off.
Who better to provide the necessary scandal than notorious rake Rushton Cantley? Yet when Rush proposes that his friend, gaming hell bruiser Jack Morgan, join in on the ruination, Vivian can’t decide if she’s shocked—or aroused. How far is too far when infamy is on the line?
A Rake, His Patron, & Their Muse – Nicola Davidson
London playwright and notorious rake Lennox Townsend is renowned for bold melodrama and bolder pleasures. When he loses interest in both, his shy yet devoted patron Lord Jonathan Grant escorts him to a country boarding house managed by repressed widow, Mrs. Viola Prescott. The trio soon surrender to sizzling—and forbidden—passion, made sweeter as each share their deepest secrets and find acceptance of their true self. Yet cold reality is ever ready to intrude, and they know happiness is fleeting. Or is it?
Monsieur X – Adriana Herrera
Joseph Cantor Marshall never imagined reaching the pinnacle of artistic success would be so… uninspiring. Desperate for a spark of excitement he attends the notorious masked soirée at the most exclusive exotic club in Paris.
The moment he walks in he’s entranced by the mysterious X, the embodiment of the painter’s darkest fantasies. But X is as slippery as he is tempting, and soon Marshall’s days and nights are consumed by growing desire for his elusive lover. Will falling for X prove to be Marshall’s undoing or his greatest masterpiece?
Sold to the Duke – Joanna Shupe
Though she once lived a life of privilege, Lady Eliza is now destitute and desperate to care for her ill sister. She decides to sell the one thing of value she has left: her virginity.
At the auction, a shocked Duke of Blackwood recognizes Eliza and refuses to allow her to fall into the clutches of a depraved bidder. But his role of noble rescuer is upended when the proud beauty insists on giving him his money’s worth.
Following the anthology, The Duke I’d Like to F…, this historical romance anthology features more hot heroes from the past however this time they are all notorious rakes.
With multiple MM romances and menage romances, I have a feeling ALL of these stories are going to be HOT.
