As the millionaire CEO of a major department store in downtown Chicago, believing the holidays are about ribbons and bows; packages, boxes, and bags, and comes from a store has been my upbringing. However, I’ve decided to heed this cautionary tale in search of that something more in the season.

Only, I don’t know exactly how to move from selfish to elf-ish.

When that glorious redhead visits me in the hospital, a plan starts to form. I accept her request for a date to her younger brother’s holiday wedding, setting off a string of unexpected events and emotions.

She becomes my reason for the fa-la-la season. And maybe perhaps, she’ll see I’m a little bit more than a grinch in a penthouse, but an elf longing to be taken down from the shelf.

I’ve really enjoyed L.B.’s holiday romcoms in this series so I was excited to see that she was releasing another one this year. I’m particularly fond of holiday romances where a character who typically is a holiday humbug turns around and finds the holiday spirit with the help of a certain someone that they fall in love with. Elf-ish sounds really adorable, and I’m excited to add it to my TBR list for this holiday season.

Nobody writes captivating romances with the best plot twists than J.T. Geissinger and when she announced this new gothic romance I was all in. Given that it’s an enemies to lovers romance with her signature snarky, strong heroine I think her fans are going to eat it up. I know I certainly did. Maven was a hoot and Ronan was intriguing and hot as heck. I loved it.

Sarina Bowen has written so many of my favorite hockey romance books so if she’s writing a new one, it absolutely is going on my TBR list. I love that this one features not only a hockey player but a former figure skater so two people who are magic on the ice. This is also a great second chance romance where Chase surprised me with his own skill in figure skating. It was such an enjoyable read so if you’re a fan of Sarina’s it deserves a spot on your TBR as well.

After reading this book summary I came to a realization that every romance book that I recall reading that is set in Alaska has been a true favorite of mine. And now I see a new book list developing in my future! So here’s hoping that this one by Laura Pavlov will be a hit as well but I have no doubt it will because she crafts the best small town romances. I love that this one includes the grumpy sunshine trope because it’s a favorite!

I’m a total sucker for a romance book with a tortured hero. And while I’m not sure what is weighing down the hero in this story, Meagan always finds a way to make my heart hurt in the best of ways with her new adult romances so I’m ready for this one.

I have all of Paisley Hope’s cowboy romances on my bookshelf ready for me to dive into so I’m adding this new release to the group for me to binge read very soon. I’m continuing my kick of cowboy romances and this one sounds super cute with a country music star and horse rancher. Reminds me of Wild Eyes by Elsie Silver which I loved so I’m all for more of this storyline.

I’m so excited to continue Amy Daws’ Mountain Men Matchmaker series where we finally get Luke’s story. I love that it is a marriage of convenience, friends to lovers romance because I love those two tropes so much. And seeing Luke trying to be a lumberjack has too many opportunities for Amy’s humor to shine through. Can’t wait to dive into this one!

This is going to be my first Kate Goldbeck novel because I’m so compelled by this book summary. I like that Sam seems to be going through a late quarter life crisis while falling for an older single dad. The fact that Nick manages a chain restaurant makes him sounds so “normal” and boring yet I am already loving that about him. Here’s hoping this is a keeper.

I really enjoy the characterizations in Sophie’s romance books so I’m really intrigued to meet Chloe and the two men that find themselves in her life at the time of her college reunion. Reunions can be so much fun or the absolute worst, and I’m excited to see where Chloe’s reunion falls in this one.

I’m sooo excited to continue this romantasy series which left readers on a cliffhanger after reading Quicksilver. I loved listening to that audiobook in duet narration so I’ll probably dive into this audiobook as well. I need more Kingfisher in my life 😊 and the fact that Carrion is going to play a big role in this one too makes me so happy.
