Best Reverse Harem Books Worth Reading

Pillow Talk is one of the best reverse harem books worth reading.

Pillow Talk
by Maya Banks

Friends to Lovers Reverse Harem Book
Heat level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Zoe is in a committed relationship with her boyfriend Chase but one night they share their favorite, secret fantasies. When they set each other’s fantasies in motion, which include their two roommates, that’s when things really heat up.

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: Woah – Pillow Talk was H-O-T, let me tell you! It’s one of my most favorite erotic romance novels for a reason and it’s the perfect reverse harem book to test out the waters of this romance book category if you like them steamy.

Zoe and Chase don’t hold back when it comes to their fantasies, especially when they get Chase’s firefighter co-workers and roommates involved.

I also loved this book because it was a standalone reverse harem book though I actually wouldn’t mind if Banks came out with a sequel!

Her Fantasy Men is one of the best reverse harem books worth reading.

Her Fantasy Men
by Shayla Black

Contemporary Reverse Harem Book

Kelsey Rena loves hanging with each of her three best friends, yet she’s never seemed interested in any of them.

There must be a lucky mystery man somewhere who’s been satisfying the girl of their secret dreams, and the three men plan to find out. And when they do, they’ll see a side of Kelsey they’ve only dared to fantasize about.

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: This is another steamy standalone reverse harem book from an author who knows how to bring the heat.

I liked how Black writes three very different male leads in this one so you get a taste of the different sides of her men that Kelsey is attracted to. You get the lifelong friend, the next-door neighbor, and the dominant boss.

I actually enjoyed the men trying to figure out their feelings about sharing Kelsey the most in this one.

Lilac is one of the best reverse harem books worth reading.

by BB Reid

Rock Star, Enemies to Lovers Reverse Harem Book
Heat level:

Braxton Fawn is the new guitarist for Bound but she wasn’t the first choice of her new bandmates. They are determined to turn her dream into a nightmare and get rid of her. She just has to survive the tour and survive her attraction to them all.

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: I was initially pulled into this story because I love enemies to lovers books, but then I realized it was a reverse harem book and set in to enjoy the ride.

There was definitely some extreme hate going on between the bandmembers and their new guitarist but that just seemed to fuel their chemistry. I liked the differences between Houston, Loren and Jericho but Rich totally stole the show by the end.

If you like reverse harem books that are more story than bedroom scenes then this rock star romance is for you.

Shared by Her Bodyguards is one of the best reverse harem books worth reading, according to romance book blogger, She Reads Romance Books.

Shared by Her Bodyguards
by Cassie Cole

Bodyguard Reverse Harem Book
Heat level:

When a young senator is threatened, she needs to be protected. Why settle for one bodyguard when you could have three?

A Capital Policeman, a Secret Service agent and a man with whom she already has a secret history – what more could a presidential hopeful want?

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: If you love romances with a bit of politics mixed in, then this reverse harem book is for you.

I loved that our heroine is a Senator who decides to run for president but that doesn’t stop her from getting it on with three hot men.

Cassie has written a LOT of reverse harem books with a wide variety of heroes, heroines, and plotlines and I enjoyed this one.

The Reverse Play is one of the best reverse harem books worth reading.

The Reverse Play
by Julie Clarke

Sports Reverse Harem Book
Heat level:

Blake has a dream about becoming a head football coach in the NFL, but it’s an uphill battle considering she’s a woman.

When she finally lands her dream job as a coach for the Boston Rebels, she knows it’s an opportunity she can’t screw up. And developing feelings for a player will do just that, especially if it’s three players she can’t stop thinking about.

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: This is the first book in the Rebels reverse harem series so as far as the romance goes, it was quite light but set the stage for what’s to come.

What I liked most is Blake’s dedication to achieve her dream of becoming an NFL coach when so much is stacked against her in a male-dominated field.

I love sports romance books, especially football romance books, so I can totally get behind a reverse harem book that features three football players who are all roommates and good friends.

These ballers are basically all-around good guys too which makes this a must-read series in this category.

8 Seconds to Fly is one of the best reverse harem books worth reading according to romance book blogger, She Reads Romance Books.

Eight Seconds to Fly
by Grace McGinty

Cowboy Reverse Harem Book
Heat level:

Tessa May Everett had grown up loving four things in life; bull riding, her father and her best frenemies, Branch and Beau. But in less than eight seconds, she’d lost all four things.

Four years later, Tessa May is back and ready to reclaim her dreams. She was going to be the first woman to compete on the professional bull riding circuit, and nothing was going to stop her.

Not the Boys Club that already held her to a different standard, and certainly not the reappearance of her former crushes and now rivals.

Tessa May is going to ride rank bulls in front of cheering crowds. And if she happened to ride a few cowboys on the way? Even better.

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: This is one of the better reverse harem books I’ve read. Tessa May is the type of strong heroine I love to read.

She had such drive to ride bulls despite not being accepted into the boys club and wouldn’t even let her men stand in her way.

Though this reverse harem book features a polyamorous romance between one woman and 4 men, it was really quite tame making it a good choice for those looking to ease into this category of romance.

Colters' Woman is one of the best reverser harem romance books worth reading.

Colters’ Woman
by Maya Banks

Small Town Reverse Harem Book
Heat level:

Adam, Ethan and Ryan aren’t looking for women. They’re looking for a woman. One woman to share their lives and their beds.

They don’t want a casual romp in the hay, they want the woman who will complete them and they’re losing hope of finding her. That is until Adam finds Holly lying in the snow just yards from their cabin.

But before Adam gets his hopes up, he knows he has to gauge his brothers’ reactions. Soon its evident that she’s the one.

There are a few problems, however, like convincing her she belongs with them and keeping her safe from the man who wants her gone.

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: This was one of the first reverse harem books that I read and I still remember it.

This story focuses on three brothers who have a family history of sharing one woman that’s meant to be theirs and theirs alone.

I love when reverse harem books really differentiate the male characters, making their personalities, interests and turn-ons different from one another.

Banks does that in this romance which also brings a bit of suspense as Holly’s past catches up with her.

Scarlett XOXO is one of the best reverse harem books worth reading.

Scarlett XOXO
by Autumn Reed

Contemporary Reverse Harem Book
Heat level:

Since moving back to Hastings, Texas it’s impossible to escape the mistakes I’ve made. A Scarlett A could just as well be stamped on my chest.

But I’m back to take care of my little brother so I’ll take the whispers and gossip. What I’m not prepared for is the kindness shown to me by my brother’s teacher and the town’s golden boy.

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: This is a unique reverse harem book in that it’s more of a polyamorous story that is very clean and tame.

There’s definitely romance between Scarlett and her three suitors who are all best friends, but their romance takes a bit of a back seat to her redemption in my mind.

I recommend this one for its light nature and well-written story.

My Five Bosses is one of the best reverse harem books worth reading.

My 5 Bosses
by Penny Wylder

Office Reverse Harem Book
Heat level:

I have five bosses, and they all want me at the same time. When I got the job offer in my email, I was beyond ecstatic. I knew this opportunity would change my life… I just didn’t know how much.

But after meeting all five of my super smoking-hot bosses, I’ve got an idea. They’re all close friends. They share a lot in common. What happens when they want to share me, too?

They’re used to getting what they want, no matter the cost. Is it possible to handle all five of my bosses, or will they break me in the process?

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: So, THIS is the reverse harem book if you’re looking for an erotic romance where you get multiple partner scenes multiple times.

I mean the girl has five bosses all eager to please her and that’s what you get.

Wylder’s books are perfect when you’re in the mood for something that is HOT so you’ve been warned with this office romance.

Nanny With Benefits
by Cassie Cole

Nanny Reverse harem Book
Heat level:

It was only supposed to be a part-time nanny job, then the pandemic hit. Now I’m quarantined with three guys at their secluded lake house.

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: I couldn’t help but include this reverse harem book because I love how Cole has already capitalized on the events of the world and made it her own. 😊

Lotto Men
by Ann Denton

Contemporary Reverse Harem Book
Heat level:

Only it’s Katie who is having a hard time picking between the pilot, the chef and the tennis pro.

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: If you’re looking for a cute, fun take on a reverse harem book, then try this one. It’s book one in a duet but could easily be read by itself. It’s actually low on steam but high on the comedy and quirkiness with this unique storyline.

Faking With Benefits
by Lily Gold

Friends to Lovers Reverse Harem Romance
Heat level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

My name is Layla Thompson, and I am undateable. I’m twenty-eight and I’ve never had a boyfriend, and I’m starting to lose patience.

Lucky for me, I have three best friends who are eager to help hone my dating skills. Zack, the rugged ex-rugby player. Josh, the sweet boy-next-door. And Luke, the silver-haired divorcee… who just so happens to be my old professor.

After a bad date leaves me crying on their shoulders, the three men are determined to help me find a guy. Together, they agree to be my ‘practice boyfriends’, and come up with a lesson plan packed with fake dates, make out sessions, and classes on flirty texting. In return, I just have to make an appearance on their relationship advice podcast once a week.

But as my lessons become more and more intense, we soon find ourselves getting in too deep and I realize that their friendship isn’t enough for me anymore. I want more.

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: Lily Gold writes amazing contemporary standalone reverse harem books and this is my favorite. It is super sweet, light on the steam, and one that portrays a really authentic and realistic poly relationship between everyone which you might not always get in reverse harem.

This is a wonderful story about friends who become more while learning about themselves along the way. I loved that Layla finally saw that it’s really about finding someone to trust (not about her not knowing how to date) when it comes to dating and putting your heart on the line.

Sticks and Stone
by Grace McGinty

Hockey Reverse Harem Book
Heat level:

My name is Nova Stone and I was a ghost in my own life until a knock at the door changed my whole world. Applying for guardianship of my infant half-brother was a no brainer, even if I hadn’t known he existed. But that was before I met his uncles; two pro ice hockey players, and a CEO. They wanted to take Huey home with them and they were willing to pay me millions of dollars for the privilege.

When that didn’t work, they managed to convince me that it would be better for my brother–and for me–if I moved into their Ann Arbor mansion. They were helpful, I’d give them that. But they were also hot, and that was a problem.

River the NHL enforcer with his brooding intensity, his foster brother Devan, who was mysterious and standoffish, and their best friend Rigby, the sweetest hockey player you’ll ever meet. How could I choose between them?

Why I Love This Reverse Harem Book: Hockey reverse harem books are becoming all the rage and McGinty delivered again with this romance that also hits you in all the feels.

I loved how Nova and all three men loved Huey who brought all of them together into this found family. You also get some mild praise kink and a brooding alpha which made this just an enjoyable read.
