Bromberg keeps scoring with this series!
Grab this one for a sweet, friends to lovers romance that brings two deserving people together long after their first kiss.
Brexton Kincade is set on landing the star quarterback as her next client, yet itโs the second string quarterback who catches her eye.
Drew Bowman was the boy she grew up with and the boy who stole her heart all those years ago. But a scandal ripped their families apart and re-establishing a friendship or finding more all these years later is sure to stir up secrets that may keep them apart for good.
Childhood Friends to Lovers Romance
Thereโs something really sweet about childhood friends reuniting years later and falling in love.
But this friends to lovers romance had the added twist of a fall-out between families who at one time had been close causing a riff that lasted years.
Can love trump family loyalty or will it be the losing side if it comes down to choosing one or the other?
The Sweetest of Characters
Sometimes I crave grit with my romance books but other times itโs the sweet characters and heartwarming couples that just do it for me.
Brexton is definitely the softer of the four Kincaid sisters in this series.
I donโt mean that in a bad way but it was evident that this woman leads with her heart and is very much open to finding love.
With a soft spot for love, sheโs still the ever focused, sharp sports agent who can go toe to toe with even the most sexist of football stars in the locker room.
I loved her drive, but it was her big heart that won me over, and there was no one more deserving of her love and support than Drew.
A Tortured Soul
Drew was a man with the world on his shoulders but who never faltered. I loved his work ethic and devotion to his family but he was also a really great man to Brexton.
As a book boyfriend heโs a keeper.
He was a man who put ego aside and was honest, thoughtful, sweet and so endearing.
While the drama and suspense surrounding his family wasnโt that much of a grabber for me, I really did like seeing these two find each other again.
While it is the third book in the series, this book can easily be read as a standalone and gives you dual points of view.
I recommend this one for fans of sweet romances who love childhood friends finally finding their happily-ever-after.
