The Most Anticipated New Romance Book Releases of February 2026
One & Only
by Maurene Goo
Contemporary Romance
Releasing February 3, 2026
She knows what her happily ever after looks like. And it’s not him.
Cassia Park believes in soul mates. Fated love stories. It’s her family business, after all—for centuries, from Korea to Los Angeles, Park women have peered into clients’ past lives to find their one true love, their fated. This magical secret is why One & Only Matchmaking has a 100% guarantee…for everyone but Cassia.
For ten years, Cass has been searching for her fated, a man named Daniel Nam. But he’s still nowhere to be found.
And so, on the eve of her 40th birthday, Cass decides to do something for herself. She impulsively has a fling with Ellis. He’s twenty-eight, indecently handsome, and not destined to be the love of her life. But she’s surprised by their connection and their fling feels like something more—up to the moment he introduces her to his boss…Daniel Nam.
As she battles between fate and chance, head and heart, a family secret is revealed that will make her question everything she’s ever known. Cassia will have to decide if she’ll follow her fate…or make her own.
I adored Maurene’s romance that has you constantly trying to guess who Cassia is going to end up with in the end! Plus, I love a romance that features a heroine who is not in her early twenties, not to mention the cool family secret that she uses for her business. I loved it and you will too.

Just for the Cameras
by Meghan Quinn
Fake Dating Romance
Releasing February 3, 2026
They’re faking it for the cameras. But what if the sparks are real?
Graydon St. John doesn’t do drama―or public appearances. The brooding defensive end for the San Francisco Foghorns prefers silence, solitude, and avoiding headlines. But when a league-wide PR scandal forces him into a media stunt at the city zoo, he’s suddenly face-to-face with squawking birds, nosy fans, and the zookeeper who seems to hate his guts on sight.
Maple Baker loves her flamingos. Loud, pink, messy? Sure. But they’re hers. And the last thing she needs is a grumpy football player stomping into her sanctuary with a bad attitude and a bigger ego. Unfortunately, they’ve been paired for the zoo’s new public outreach program, and the cameras are already rolling.
The banter is sharp. The tension is electric. And the more they pretend to play nice for the press, the more their fake flirtation starts to feel like something dangerously real.
But when family secrets, viral fame, and a PR romance gone off-script threaten everything Maple’s worked for, Graydon must decide if he’s willing to fight for love―or let it slip away to protect her.
If you’re looking for a vintage Meghan Quinn book that is a super fun romcom that will have you howling with laughter, then this is it. It kicks off a brand new series that features some hot athletes (and a few you may recognize from past books, though this can easily be read as a standalone!) that you don’t want to miss.

Free Falling
by Jill Shalvis
Enemies to Lovers Romance
Releasing February 3, 2026
Retired hockey player Caleb Colburn needs this new construction project to go smoothly to prove he’s earned his place in the family business. There’s only one problem. The architect liaison assigned to the project is Emma Sumner. As in, the woman who made his life a living hell in college. Now, she’s back in town and already breathing down his neck on the job. Worse? She’s only gotten more beautiful.
Emma’s in love with the beautiful historic building they’re renovating. But her feelings toward project manager Caleb definitely lean more toward hate. Not only is the man making her job harder than it needs to be, he’s the one who took everything from her when she was at her most desperate. Not that she’d ever admit it out loud, but she’s never recovered.
Neither is willing to forgive and forget. But forced proximity and surprising common ground have these enemies starting to wonder just how fine the line between love and hate is. A burning mutual attraction adds complications for them both. Will anything be left standing when their secrets are finally revealed?
Enemies to lovers is my favorite romance trope, but this book would have made my list anyway because I already fell for Caleb in his brother’s story, He Falls First (but again, this can be read as a standalone). The fact that he is a former hockey player is just icing on the cake of this forced proximity romance!

Petty in Pink
by L.J. Shen
Accidental Pregnancy Romance
Releasing February 3, 2026
Layla Schmidt has artfully dodged Cupid’s arrows for six years now, keeping things casual with her standing booty call—no romance, no strings.
As far as Layla’s concerned, it’s the perfect setup. For both of them. With her painful track record, the lively teacher wants nothing to do with commitment, and Grant Gerwig, dedicated oncologist, is too busy for it. Truthfully, Grant wants to make the time, but he knows better than to push where Layla won’t budge.
Their emotional standstill can’t last forever, though.
When a coworker’s wedding brings a blast from Layla’s past, it blows a hole through her future too. Swirling emotions lead to impulsive decisions, and after an adrenaline-fueled night, she finds herself pregnant.
Layla and Grant have a lot to talk about…and a lot to prepare for. Falling in love was never supposed to be part of their equation, but even the best-laid plans unfold with some surprises along the way.
Sometimes you just need the perfect novella to get you in the mood for Valentine’s Day and this sounds like the perfect pick. I’m a sucker for stories about two people jaded by love who end up finding it together so I’m excited to dive into this new romance this month.

And the Crowd Went Wild
by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
Second Chance Romance
Releasing February 10, 2026
After a mortifying—and very public—humiliation, Dancy Flynn is desperate to find sanctuary far from the crowd. But where can a washed-up sex symbol hide? How about making an unannounced appearance at the secluded lake house of the sweet, sensitive high school boyfriend she hasn’t seen in almost twenty years?
But Chicago Stars quarterback Clint Garrett is no longer the kid Dancy remembers. Now he’s a gridiron superhero, still holding a massive grudge against her for breaking his teenage heart. With no room in his life for either complexity or distractions, he banishes Dancy to a refurbished old railroad caboose tucked away in the woods…and out of his sight.
Except Dancy’s not good at staying invisible. Her efforts to rebuild her career clash with Clint’s desperation to regain his focus, all made more challenging by a rescue dog, a local woman in trouble, a meddling mother, an ex with an agenda…and the sizzle of rekindled emotions.
As Dancy attempts to get her life on track and Clint tries to get his groove back, can these two one-time lovers navigate their rocky pasts and complicated present to find themselves…and each other?
If the queen of sports romance is releasing a new book, then you better believe that it’s going on my TBR list! Susan Elizabeth Phillips has the amazing ability to craft the most indulging love stories with characters who have such depth and who sweep you away with their love story. This is a must read!

Still Into You
by Erin Connor
Rock Star Romance
Releasing February 10, 2026
Sloane Donavan dreamed of being a rock journalist ever since she posted her first MySpace blog. Now, one journalism degree, a failed internship, and dozens of backstage passes later, she’s struggling to land a full-time staff position. So when punk rock’s most notorious and elusive frontman offers her his first interview in eight years, Sloane should be jumping at the opportunity—but taking it would mean reconnecting with the only guy she’s ever loved (and lost), Dax Nakamura.
Unable to pass up a shot at making her name—and helping Dax clear the reputation that’s plagued his—Sloane agrees. It’s only a conflict of interest if anyone finds out. But the article Dax wants and the salacious tell-all Sloane’s editor is expecting are two completely different stories. And as old feelings resurface, Sloane’s journalistic integrity hangs in the balance. This is the career-making piece she’s been waiting for, but it comes with a price: the chance to rewrite the ending with her first and only love.
If you are a lover of rock star romance, or even if you aren’t – this book is the one for you because it will sweep you away into the world of music. I absolutely loved this second chance romance between a metalcore rocker and the journalist tasked to capture his story. Another must-read!

Throne of Nightmares
by Kerri Maniscalco
Fantasy Romance
Releasing February 10, 2026
A prince who prefers games of the head to those of the heart.
Prince Sloth hates leaving his enchanted library, but when a forgotten deity threatens the very fabric of the Underworld, he’s thrust into a race against time. He must find the Book of Nightmares—an ancient artifact that has the power to break worlds—before it unleashes a haunting game to free its master, the Goddess of Night. When a betrayal leaves him marked, and desperate, his path collides with a young woman who possesses the legendary Phoenix Tear—a portal stone unlike any other.
A librarian who is all sweet sunshine…until she burns.
Lore Brimstone has always loved getting lost in a book—but she never meant literally. Yet, after visiting a traveling caravan, she quickly finds herself transported to a terrifying but oddly familiar world—with the worst, twisted prince at her side. Realizing they are living out her favorite novels one by one, they face off against an increasingly dark magic as they try to survive the story.
A twisted tale that means they can’t trust themselves—or their hearts.
As Lore and Sloth navigate the pages of her beloved novels gone wrong, she must channel her inner main character to defeat the Book of Nightmares before the wall between the gods and mortals comes crashing down, dooming them all.
If you love romantasy books, then Kerri’s titles are always a great pick. This new romance is the next in her Prince of Sin series and how can you resist the Prince of Sloth? I’m also a sucker for romance books that feature librarians and this one sounds so intriguing. I cannot wait to check it out.

All I had to know is that this is a romance about an escort and that Nikki Castle is writing it for it to make my must-read list. Plus, Nikki writes the best romances with MMA fighters and I cannot wait to see how Nico falls for Scarlett.

And Now Back to You
by B.K. Borison
Forced Proximity Romance
Releasing February 24, 2026
Jackson Clark and Delilah Stewart have had their fair share of run-ins over the years, often ending in disaster. While Jackson thrives on routine and organization from the comfort of his radio booth, Delilah loves the spontaneity and adventure out in the field. When they’re partnered against their will to cover a historic snowstorm, they find themselves scrambling to figure out how to work together.
Eager to be taken seriously as a journalist, Delilah offers Jackson a deal: If he can help her ace this assignment, she’ll help him rediscover his long-lost fun side. With unexplored chemistry burning beneath their clashes, the unlikely partnership quickly tumbles into an easy and surprising friendship.
But when other feelings start to enter the equation, can Jackson and Delilah withstand the storm? Or does what happens in the mountains stay in the mountains?
I absolutely devoured last year’s hit, First Time Caller, so you better believe that I was excited to read B.K.’s follow-up novel which is fantastic! I loved seeing these two opposites fall in love while trapped on a mountain covering a big snowstorm. Who would have thought a romance about two meteorologists would be so much fun. I highly recommend!
My book review of And Now, Back to You.
Bright Light Dark Thunder
by Connor Crais
Romantic Suspense
Releasing February 26, 2026
Walker: I was a soldier. A terrible weapon forged in secret. Now I’m a ghost. I’ve exiled myself to a remote cabin in Montana, where I intend to live out the rest of my days, buried as deep as my secrets.
Until I run into a stunning woman in a prison uniform. Or rather she ran into me, a weapon in her hand and secrets of her own chasing her. Naomi Barrett is beautiful, smart, capable and in a whole lot of trouble.
I should leave well enough alone. But when I realize how much danger she’s truly in and that I’m the only man who can save her, I don’t have a choice. Some battles choose you. And when my past threatens her as well, I’m forced to become the soldier I swore I never would be again.
On the run, I’m fighting a losing battle against my own heart as I fall for the girl with pale blue eyes.
I’d burn down the world to keep her safe. Even if it costs me what’s left of my soul.
I was trained to be the perfect soldier. But I never expected to find someone worth fighting for.
I love Connor Crais as a romance book narrator, but he’s also such a talented author and I’m really looking forward to this new romantic suspense. I’m always so impressed by the authors who can weave together a suspenseful story as well as a romance in one, and I cannot wait to see how Connor does it in this one.
