Below Zero
by Ali Hazelwood
Mara, Sadie, and Hannah are friends first, scientists always. Though their fields of study might take them to different corners of the world, they can all agree on this universal truth: when it comes to love and science, opposites attract and rivals make you burnโฆ
Hannahโs got a bad feeling about this. Not only has the NASA aerospace engineer found herself injured and stranded at a remote Arctic research stationโbut the one person willing to undertake the hazardous rescue mission is her longtime rival.
Ian has been many things to Hannah: the villain who tried to veto her expedition and ruin her career, the man who stars in her most deliciously lurid dreamsโฆbut heโs never played the hero. So why is he risking everything to be here? And why does his presence seem just as dangerous to her heart as the coming snowstorm?

It Happened One Summer
by Tessa Bailey
Piper Bellinger is fashionable, influential, and her reputation as a wild child means the paparazzi are constantly on her heels. When too much champagne and an out-of-control rooftop party lands Piper in the slammer, her stepfather decides enough is enough.
So he cuts her off, and sends Piper and her sister to learn some responsibility running their late fatherโs dive bar… in Washington.
Piper hasnโt even been in Westport for five minutes when she meets big, bearded sea captain Brendan, who thinks she wonโt last a week outside of Beverly Hills. So what if Piper canโt do math, and the idea of sleeping in a shabby apartment with bunk beds gives her hives. How bad could it really be? Sheโs determined to show her stepfatherโand the hot, grumpy localโthat sheโs more than a pretty face.
Except itโs a small town and everywhere she turns, she bumps into Brendan. The fun-loving socialite and the gruff fisherman are polar opposites, but thereโs an undeniable attraction simmering between them. Piper doesnโt want any distractions, especially feelings for a man who sails off into the sunset for weeks at a time.
Yet as she reconnects with her past and begins to feel at home in Westport, Piper starts to wonder if the cold, glamorous life she knew is what she truly wants. LA is calling her name, but Brendanโand this town full of memoriesโmay have already caught her heart.

On the other side of town, in the dark glades, under the rainโฆ Macon is the oldest. Thirty-one. Ex-Marine. I donโt think Iโve ever seen him smile. Army is twenty-eight. A single dad with the most beautiful green eyes. He has no idea who he is, if not a Jaeger brother.
Iron will be in prison soon. Youโd never think it to meet him. Heโs a nice guy, actually. But he canโt stop reacting to everything. Dallas is the one I hate. Twenty-one, cruel, and selfish. He takes and then throws away whateverโs left. And Trace is mine. Or he was for about two seconds. No one can tame him for long.
Not that I ever wanted to. It was fun, but now I need to go home. Back to my side of the tracks. Away from the swamps and these men. To my parentsโ big house. On my clean street. Where Iโm never dirty or messy or hot. And I will. Iโll leave first thing tomorrow morning. I just want to crash on the couch tonight.
Their house is dark and quiet, everyone else is asleep. Except for one. He sees me crying and comes at me from behind. I let him wrap his arms around my body and hold me tightly. His breath is on my neck, his fingers are in my hair, and he doesnโt stop there. I donโt think it was Trace.

Four years later, Tessa May is back and ready to reclaim her dreams. She was going to be the first woman to compete on the professional bull riding circuit, and nothing was going to stop her. Nine Month Contract
by Amy Daws
Help Wanted: Grumpy mountain man seeks baby momma. Job is an incubator position only. Surrogate must be impervious to grunting as the form of communication and nosy brotherly neighbors. Rustic mountain range housing available upon request.
I wanted to pummel my irritating brothers when they posted their own version of a wanted ad to help me with my life. But I canโt fault the results once the right woman lands in my lap.
Becoming a single father is not a decision I made lightly. In fact, itโs the biggest decision of my entire life. Which is why when I interview Trista, I know sheโs perfect. Sheโs wild, sheโs opinionated, she wears cowboy boots. Even my pet goat loves herโฆ
Sheโs the exact type of person I was holding out for. And to my great horror, I realize on our first night of attempting this baby-making danceโwhen the lights are low, the cheap wine is flowing and the home-insemination supplies are laid out on the kitchen counterโI want to do a lot more than just make her my surrogate. I want to make her mine.

Ten Trends for Seducing Your Best Friend
by Penny Reid
Winnifred Gobaldi and Byron Visser are not best friends. Yes, theyโve known each other for years, but theyโre not even friendly. Winnie considers them more like casual, distant acquaintances who find each other barely tolerable, especially when he’s being condescending (which is all the time).
The truth is, they have nothing in common. Sheโs a public school science teacher with stars in her eyes, and heโs a pretentious, joyless double PhD turned world-famous bestselling fiction author. She loves sharing her passion for promulgating women in STEM careers and building community via social media, and he eschews all socialization, virtual or otherwise.
Sheโs looking for a side hustle to help pay down a mountain of student debt, and his financial portfolio is the stuff of fiduciary wet dreams. So why are they faking a #bestfriend relationship for millions of online spectators?
When a simple case of tit-for-tat trends between nonfriends leads to a wholly unexpected kind of pretend, nothing is simple. Sometimes, it takes a public audience to reveal the truth of private feelings, and rarelyโvery rarelyโyou should believe what you see online.

My Lucky #13
by Piper Rayne
Lucky. The one adjective used to describe my entire hockey career. I prefer to call it hard work, at least I did until my game went to complete crap. I havenโt scored in eight games and the team owner is talking about trading me.
Iโve never believed in superstitions. Never needed one. I suppose I was โluckyโ in that way. But now the best way to refer to me is desperate. Iโd wear the same socks for an entire year just to be the high-scoring center I used to be.
Imagine my surprise when after spending New Yearโs Eve with a woman, I score a hat trick in the next gameโthatโs three goals in one game for you non-hockey lovers. Now, I have to track her down and bribe her to do it again before every game. Get your mind out of the gutter, Iโm not talking about it.
I find her and when I get to know her better, I end up spending more time thinking about her than my game, but sheโs made it clear she wants no part of me. Sheโs going to learn that I didnโt become a professional hockey player without having to fight for what I want.

44 Chapters About 4 Men
by B.B. Easton
44 Chapters About 4 Men is a laugh-out-loud funny and brutally honest look at female sexuality, as told through the razor-sharp lens of domesticated bad girl BB Easton. After settling down and starting a family with her perfectly vanilla “husbot,” Ken, BB finds herself longing for the reckless passion she had in her youth. She begins to write about these escapades in a secret journal, just for fun, but when Ken starts to act out the words on the pages, BB realizes that she might have stumbled upon the holy grail of behavior modification techniques.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but in the end, BB learns that the man she was trying so hard to change was perfect for her all along.

One regretted decision sent him away. One painful journey brought him back to me. And two broken hearts just want to find their way home.
