The Most Anticipated New Romance Book Releases of March 2026
In Her Own League
by Liz Tomforde
Forbidden Sports Romance
Releasing March 3, 2026
As the first female team owner in Major League Baseball, Reese Remington has spent her entire life preparing for this role. With a sharp mind and years of experience working behind the scenes, sheโs more than qualified. But the public only sees a woman in a manโs worldโnot the person whoโs earned their place on the field. Under constant scrutiny and pressure to prove herself, Reese canโt afford distractions.
Especially one that comes in the form of the teamโs tempting field manager who questions her every decision.
Emmett Montgomery is a former All-Star turned coach who treats his players like family and the field like home. After years of running the team his way, the last thing he wants is a new boss, let alone one who seems ice-cold and laser-focused on business. But forced to spend long hoursโand too many away gamesโside by side, he begins to see the fire beneath Reeseโs control, the heart behind her ambition, and the unwavering determination to prove herself.
When heated banter turns into sizzling chemistry, professional boundaries blur and the spark between them becomes impossible to resist. But Reese is constantly reminded of how many people are waiting for her to fail, and the safest move is to keep Emmett at armโs lengthโfor the sake of the team, the season, and her career.
But keeping their distance is one game neither of them can seem to win.
I was SOOO excited when Liz announced that she was writing Emmett’s story because he became a favorite character after reading Caught Up in her Windy City series and I NEED his story this month. Plus, I also like what has been hinted at regarding Reese and how she’s a female owner in a male-dominated world. I have such high hopes for this one.
Mistakes Were Made

Opposites Attract Romance
Releasing March 10, 2026
Literary agent Zoey Moody has been exiled from the Manhattan publishing scene to small-town Pennsylvania with her best friend and only remaining client, romance novelist Hazel Hart. Zoeyโs bank account is running on fumes, forcing her to liquidate her designer wardrobe to make ends meet.
But this plucky heroine has a plan to climb her way back on top. Nothing will stand in her way.
Okay. Nothing except her six-foot-two-inch blue-collar landlord, Gage Bishop. Heโs smart, serious, and sexy. When he isnโt practicing law, heโs working with his equally attractive brothers in the family construction business. Worst of all, heโs ready to settle down.
Zoey might be the most beautiful, infuriating woman Gage has ever met, but her special brand of chaos makes it clear theyโre all wrong for each other. Sheโs allergic to commitment and afraid of animals. Heโs looking for a wife and lives in a literal barn. (For clarification, itโs a converted barn. But he does live there with a golden retriever who doesnโt understand the concept of personal space.)
These opposites can attract all they want. They both know it will never work out. For one, even if she wanted to, Zoey could never give him what he wants.
But when Gageโs world is rocked by a devastating family secret, he turns to Zoey for one night to forget everything. That one night just might change everythingโฆor ruin it. Yeah. Thatโs more likely.
I’ve been ready for this story after reading Story of My Life last year and I know Zoey and Gage’s story is going to be fantastic. A bit of opposites attract goodness in a small town romance that Lucy writes so well – I imagine it’s going to be another New York Times bestseller!

Relationship Coach Romance
Releasing March 3, 2026
Allegra Hart has been working her whole life to achieve one goal: become a principal ballerina. When her director starts holding auditions for the lead role in the companyโs latest production, Allegra sees this as her chanceโmaybe her last chance.
The catch? The director wants someone with sex appeal, and he doesnโt think sheโs up to the task. Determined to prove him wrong, Allegra enlists the help of the lead dancer of an all-male revue, Cord Donovan, a classically trained dancer who is also the sexiest man sheโs ever met. In exchange for lessons on how to ramp up her sex appeal, she promises to help Cord choreograph a new partner piece for his show.
As they practice their moves on and off the stage, Allegra and Cord find themselves battling a growing attraction, all the more illicit because Cord has sworn to never partner with a ballerina. Allegra is determined not to let a man derail her career, but what if she could have both love and success? Or will her involvement with Cord jeopardize everything sheโs worked for?
All I had to know was that Cord was the mastermind behind a “Magic Mike” type of show and I was in for this new romance. Plus, if you’ve been following me you know that I love romance books where the hero is asked to “teach” the heroine some relationship pointers or in this case ways of increasing her sex appeal. It was fantastic!
Right Your Wrongs
by Kandi Steiner
Second Chance Hockey Romance
Releasing March 10, 2026
What happens when the youngest, most successful coach in the NHL comes face-to-face with the woman he never got over โ only to find out sheโs married to his new General Manager?
Everything Iโve spent my life building is suddenly at risk. I loved Ariana Ridley long before the world knew my name. Before the NHL. Before the pressure of being one of the youngest coaches in the league. Before I learned how to survive by locking my heart down tight.
Leaving her was the hardest thing Iโve ever done โ and the one choice I never made peace with. Now sheโs back. And she belongs to another man. My new General Manager.
I tell myself I can handle it. Discipline is my job. Control is my strength. I know how to keep my distance โ how to respect the lines that should never be crossed.
But every glance drags the past to the surface. Every quiet moment reminds me the love I buried never died.
I see the cracks she tries to hide, the fear sheโs learned to live with, and the way she still looks at me like Iโm the one place she can breathe.
I want to protect her. I want to fight for her. And I want things I have no right to want. Because if I cross that line, I donโt just risk my career โ I risk shattering the woman I never stopped loving.
Some choices haunt us forever. Some loves never let go. And trying to right my wrongs might just ruin us both.
If you love hockey romance books then you have to read every single book in Kandi’s Kings of the Ice series. They are just fantastic and I’ll be sad to see it end with coach’s love story. I have no idea how this is going to play out given the delicacy of the situation but I’m ready for whatever it may bring.

How to Write a Love Story
by Catherine Walsh
Rivals to Lovers Romance
Releasing March 10, 2026
Ciara Sheridanโs father has left her with three things: a sprawling and distinctly ramshackle estate on the Irish coast, the outline for the finale to his bestselling epic fantasy series that he wanted her to finishโand writerโs block.
Enter Sam Avery: Frank Sheridan fanboy and hotshot editor, sent from the New York publishing house direct to Ciaraโs doorstep–against Ciaraโs wishes and red pen at the ready.
With the deadline looming, Ciara and Sam have just a few weeks to stop bickering, write this novel, and secure Frank’s legacy.
But as the summer heats up, so too does the tension between them. Will their own love story be the plot twist neither of them see coming?
Catherine Walsh is my go-to when I want to read a romance set in Ireland and I love a good story when it pits writers together. The fact that these two do not get along and yet need to work on a project together makes it sound too delicious to pass up.

No Matter What

Married Couple Second Chance Romance
Releasing March 17, 2026
Roz and Vin canโt look each other in the eyes anymore, let alone share a bed. Itโs been a year since they survived a traumatic car accident and their marriage hasnโt been the same. But Roz has held out hope they can fix thingsโฆuntil she discovers Vin signed a new lease. So she does what any soon-to-be-divorced Manhattanite would do: sign up for figure drawing class.
Between Roz’s determined attempts to improve her artistic skills and her adventures with her best friend Raffi, she can almost ignore Vinโs impending move-out date and his footsteps in their previously unoccupied guest room. But it would all be a lot easier if Vin wasnโt Raffiโs older brother, and if she didnโt still find him incredibly, debilitatingly attractive and kind.
So kind, in fact, that Vin offers to let Roz draw him. What is she supposed to say? Itโs probably better than her original plan of finding some random male model online, and she needs all the practice she can get. Plus, thatโs sure to make a separation easier, right? Focus on every detail of your estranged spouseโs body while drawing them in the nude? But after the year they’ve spent avoiding each other, it feels good to see and be seen by one another again.
As Roz works to capture the wholeness of the person she fell in love with, will they both be able to draw upon the feelings they buried deep inside to finally heal together?
No one quite grips my heart with her stories and characters like Cara Bastone so I’m going to brace myself and dive in full force with her new release! I love that it features a married couple as those are few and far between. I just hope the reason for their current plight isn’t too heartbreaking.

Love Song
by Elle Kennedy
College Romance
Releasing March 17, 2026
After a brutal breakup, college junior Blake Logan escapes to her family’s lake house in Tahoe, determined to shut out the world. Her plan is simple: no men, no drama. Until Wyatt Graham shows up. Four years older and far too good at getting under her skin, Wyatt is the living embodiment of a “bad idea,” and the guy who shattered her pride when she confessed her crush at sixteen.
With his music career stalled, Wyatt has come to Tahoe for inspiration. The last thing he expectsโฏis to find it with Blake. He’s spent years keeping his distance, convinced he’s all wrong for her, but she’s no longer the innocent girl he once knew. She’s confident, captivating, and impossible to ignore. And the slow-burning tension between them? It’s catching fire fast.
They both know this can’t last, but one reckless kiss turns into another, and soon they’re tangled in something that feels dangerously like more. Just as they finally give in to the pull, tragedy tears them apart, leaving their hearts in pieces.
But forgetting that one, nearly perfect summer? Not a chance. And when fate brings them together again, Blake and Wyatt must decide if this is a second chanceโฆor the final verse.
This book features the next generation from Kennedy’s Off Campus series though not officially part of her Campus Diaries series. I’ve already seen a bit of Blake in the Campus Diaries series and I’m anxious to see how she gets her happily ever after with Wyatt. If you’re in the mood for a college romance, let this be your pick for the month!
Mayhem and the Mortal
by Shanora Williams
Romantasy
Releasing March 17, 2026
One mission. One curse. No escape. Zaira doesnโt want a hero. She needs a weapon.
To save her sister from a soul-devouring curse, she has to cross The Shallowsโa nightmare landscape of ruined magic, shifting paths, and vicious creatures that eat people alive.
Her guide? Thane Valkor: sorcerer, assassin, walking red flag. His name clears rooms. His magic kills quietly. And whatever heโs really after, itโs not salvation.
He promises to help. He might even mean it. But Zaira knows better than to trust a liar with a blade and ice in his veins. She just doesnโt have a choice.
I’m always on the lookout for my next favorite romantasy and I hope this is it! Shanora’s work has been on my TBR list for sometime so I’m excited to finally check out this book in March.
The Night We Met
by Abby Jimenez
Contemporary Romance
Releasing March 24, 2026
In everyoneโs life, thereโs a split-second decision that can change everything…
For Larissa, it came when choosing who to ride home with after a concert. That night, she had no idea sheโd met the perfect man. She and Chris are great friends, co-parenting a slightly unhinged rescue Yorkie, sharing their favorite books, and judging bread (pumpernickel for the win!). For the first time amid all her side hustles to scrape by, things finally feel easy.
But she didnโt choose Chris to drive her home all those months agoโshe went with his best friend, and he became her boyfriend. All Chris wants is for Larissa to be happy. Standing by on the sidelines is slowly killing him, but making a move would destroy someone else. How can something that feels so right be absolutely impossible?
Abby Jimenez is one of those authors that I’ll auto-read every year, not matter the storyline because I know that she will deliver. I always have to keep a box of tissues near by as well as she inevitably tugs on all my heartstrings and I’m already feel this one just by reading the summary. I cannot wait to read it.
Game On
by Navessa Allen
Dark Romance
Releasing March 31, 2026
I hate that woman.
Tyler Neumann has spent years looking for his father, and not because he wants to meet the man. No, he wants to destroy him. And heโll manipulate whoever he can to exact his revenge.
Including Stella McCormick. Sheโs everything Tyler hates. Her wealth and privilege have protected her for her entire life, and Tyler thinks it’s time she finally paid the price. Whether sheโs ready to or not.
I hate that man. Stella might not believe in love at first sight, but loathing at first sightโno question. From the moment she sets eyes on Tyler in her tattoo parlor, she knows heโs the devil planning to make her life hell.
Forced to play the part of his girlfriend and invite him into her familyโs glittering circles, Stella quickly clocks Tylerโs ulterior motives. But love and hate are two sides of the same coin, and soon she doesnโt know which is worse: being blackmailed by a man who wants to ruin her, or that they canโt seem to keep their hands off each other.
I know everyone is hyped about Navessa Allen’s Into Darkness series, but the previous two books were a bit too dark for my taste given the trigger warnings so I’m hoping that this one hits the sweet spot as far as dark romance goes without being excessively violent and gory. Here’s hoping!
