OMG, Meghan Quinn has done it again and written such a fantastic book with such lovable characters.

This is honestly one of my most favorite books from her and is now one of my all-time favorites!

I fell in love with Brig, the youngest of the Knightly brothers, from earlier books in this series – especially in That Secret Crush.

The build up in these previous books gives you a look into this hopeless romantic who is seriously devoted to finding his soulmate. I mean, this guy is just the cutest.

While this can easily be read as a standalone, I think you’d enjoy it a lot more if you read at least That Secret Crush before so that you can get a taste of Brig’s quirkiness.

If not, he may come across as completely clueless and the true moron his family thinks he is!

But really, he has such a big heart AND big blinders on which you may not fully understand without some additional background.

Not only is Brig adorable and funny and just so kind, but he is pretty clueless when it comes to what is right in front of him.

But that’s what makes this story work, in a really good way and not in an annoying or frustrating way which it could easily have ventured toward.

What’s more is that I absolutely loved Ruth. She at first comes across as this shy thing but there is really so much more to her.

I loved the personality we see in her relationship with Riley and Beck and it’s even better when that sass comes out with Brig once she lets her guard down.

She wasn’t a pushover (thank God) and demanded her worth!

That Swoony Thing was a great end to a small town series. The bonus epilogue you can get from Quinn was fantastic too. I highly recommend this book.
